Should speed affect charging?

Logically, shouldn't faster characters be more effective when charging? A guy who runs 60 feet in 6 seconds is going to do less damage than a person who runs 90 feet in 6 seconds.

And logically, a 6' tall creature wielding a 10' long spear should have a greater reach then a 3' tall creature wielding a 5' spear. Yet by RAW, both have a 10' reach. (Small and medium creatures have the exact same reach.)

Logically, a 7 foot tall creature should do more damage with a weapon then a 4' tall one. More leverage. But unless one of them has a strength bonus or penalty, they do the exact same damage as they are both Medium size, wielding the same Medium weapons.

A colossal creature with 30' reach can only throw a dagger 50 feet. A 6 inch tall creature can throw a dagger to the exact same range. (For that matter, a colossal creature can attack a creature in melee with the dagger at no penalty within 30 feet, but may take a -2 or -4 penalty when throwing it at the same creature).

The game makes no effort to model reality. Its far more trouble then it is worth. So no, a faster creature should no do more damage with a charge then a slower one. He already has the bonus of being able to move farther. That is enough.

There's a 3.5 Feat for that, but I can't remember where to find it. It was part of a Monk rework that may or may not have been 3rd party.

Gist of it was that for every 10 feet of your movement remaining after the charge, you added an extra point of damage.
