Does this spell (and the "greater" version) exist in 3.5? It's on Neverwinter Nights, but that's 3.0.

I've got most of the books, and a fair number of back issues of both Dragon and Dungeon magazine. I've never seen that spell in any publication. Fortunately for you, however, I am nowhere near as omniscient as I one day plan to be and the spell might actually have been put in print in something I don't own.
A quick google suggests it's NWN only.

On one particular forum it stated that the spells deals 1d6 damage per missile and a mage gets 1 missile/level. I believe the spell is 4th level so you could create it yourself.
Just require a ranged touch attack and slap a medium range on the spell and you are set. But ofcourse now you have to call it Darkjoy's missile storm.
Actually I think the spell lets loose a volley of 10 missles each dealing 1D6 points of damage.

Ok here it is:
(Evocation (Force))
Sor/Wiz 4
Components: V,S
Range: 100ft +10ft/lvl
Targets: Up to one creature per missle, no two of which can be more than 15ft apart
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes
A number of energy missles (1/lvl up to a maximum of 10) randomly target any hostile creatures in the area, striking the closest targets first. If there are more missles than creatures multiple missles can strike the same target. Each missle does 1D6 points of damage.
...this is how I would translate it anyway...
