hope the sounds isn't up too loud when you do it, my ADD ass would find this distracting, would have to be reminded to roll a lot. that being said it's pretty freaking perfect for Caliphas.
my group has used similar effects, especially on halloween, we turned the lights off and, used glow in the dark dice, as well as glow spray painted figurines, and I downloaded a similar animated wall paper on my laptop and hooked it to the plasma. it was a blast, except as mentioned in the quote, when we add scary music I was frequently distracted by it. As long as your players aren't distracted, this is great.
