I know this is a basic question... But are PFS characters allowed to purchase multiples of the same magic item?
For example.. I'd like to purchase a pretty decent number of lvl1 pearls of power for my intensified magical lineage shocking grasp based Magus. I could see a large number of them being really good... Since 4+ 10d6 shocking grasps per fight go a long way towards equalizing damage output between Magus and fighter

So just to make sure my build was viable, I compared it against a theoretical fighter with two handed weapon and power attack. Yeah, it might just be a bad barbarian, but it would have a lot of feats and flexibility.
Fighter:
Damage was like 1d12+34
(1.5*(+5 str +3 str enh item) + 1.5*(+8 power attack) +4 enhancement +2 weapon training +2 weapon spec +2 greater weapon spec)
At +12 (bab) +8 (str) +4 (enh) +2 (weapon training) +2 (weapon spec & greater weapon spec), so at +26 to hit, -4 for power attack, +22. Which means +22/+17+12
Magus:
+8 (bab) +5 (dex) +2 (enh to dex) +3 (arcane pool) +3 (enh on weapon) = 21/21/16
1d6 + 5 (dex) +2 (dex enh) +3 (arc pool) +3 (enh on weapon) +3 (black blade strike)
1d6+16 @ +21 to hit.
So each of the Magus attacks does about 20 damage a hit, whereas the fighter does like 40. But a single 10d6 shocking grasp per round puts us much closer to parity.
I plan to get a massive number of pearls to close this gap and turn shocking grasp into a strategy.
Magus will be worse at damage, but has Frigid Touch.. haste, vamp touch, and other goodies.

I'm getting into the habit of buying and lending out spring loaded wrist sheathes to anyone who plays in a scenario that I'm playing in.
If you own the book, they can use yours for that session, and it's a good way to encourage them to buy their own if they liked it enough.
And you're all more likely to survive.
