Oh. Well, I've heard others...
Anyway, no. A MAD charecter is going to be tough to use here.
Taking craft wonderous and a trait to decrease costs of making magic items by 5%
Makeing bow my bonded item
Quiver costs a little over 900
Bow gets the rest I'll have to look at the tables to see how much I can afford there.
Im thinking of the name Clifford "cliff" Barton

fair enough.
Ok. Just making sure.
My item is an intelligent one of these.
Interesting, not powerful, but very thematic, I like it.
What will its intelegent item powers be?
Viskranra sorcerer (infernal)3/bard 3
Traits- charming/magical linage (unnatural lust)
Feats- extend spell, craft wondrous.
Unnatural lust 3/day. Prestitigtion at will
Dang it fourth time my iPod reloaded this
Clifford Barton (race unknown)
Wizard 3/zen archer 3
Traits: black blade student, hedge magician
Feets: arcane strike, craft wonderous, +bonus feets.
2 pepole with craft wondrous...
Ah well.
If i could, I'd make the scarf a bonded item, but it's belt slot.
Why does that matter? (Not the feet I'm takeing it so i can get both the bow and the quivver, having only 15 gp to my name would make me run out of ammo real fast. and it opens the possibility of taking craft construct later)
I mean the belt slot, it's a wonderous item,
icehawk333 wrote: Talk tomarrow. Bed now. Ah, k good night.
Or insomnia. That works too.
Ok...
Overall, remake of the charecter a little...
Serpentine(crossblodoed infernal) bloodline scorcerer/ (lotis gashia) bard 3
Traits-
Charmer, arcane heritage (charm person)
Feats-
Spell focus (enchantment), craft wondrous, persuasive
I just found out i don't get a ki pool till four, and it's barely useful till 5.. Huh, ah well, something to look foward to,
I qualify for arcane archer at 7 (well I qualify at 6 but I can't take it then, I have to take it at 7)
I'm having difficulty deciding on my specialty school,
If I take a standard school I'll take either evocation or abjuration, bar transmutation and divination (or enchantment and divination)
But the elemental schools... Grr, what do you guys think.
Not sure...
I've got put some stuff together...
But I've encountered a problem.
Playing a manipulative charecter....
When you know all the npc's weaknesses right off the bat.
What they fall for, who to target, what thier saves are....
Honestly, wether (me, or others) know it for not, (me, or others) do incorporate a degree of meta gaming into their play. It's the subconscious difficulty of not acting on what you know.
? How would I know this?
And really I will just as often reverse metagame and delibratly act in a way contrary to what I know.
Me. With my charecter.
Make more sense now?
I'm running into the problem of
"The dm knows everything, and when his characters do good, he looks bad."

It's not on the list of bonded items.
Also, 1 gp -> 50 arrows.
?
...
Oh!
Right ok
For a bit I thought you were talking about one of our characters going after her that way... And before you edited my browser crashed and I had the coment of
"But my character's a monk... He doesn't care"
But this makes more sense.

Also, 1 gp -> 50 arrows. oh righet, well that's a stupid rule, you as DM can say "belts can be wonderous items if rings can be"
And as for the others, oh right, I somehow thought 1=5 arrows,
But I like the special arrows
Ok then. Remember, because the time is measured in minutes, a constant quiver of abundant ammunition will cost x2.
At will takes a round to trigger.
And dm housruleing in his own favor... See a problem with that?
The dm is crippled as a player, because he has to avoid looking like he's making the game easy for himself.

i know,

i trust you, I mean so long as you allow others to use this rule as well this one seems fine, but it's up to you, .
I keep forgetting the mor important rule...
"Trust the dm"
If you don't, it makes life a lot harder....
I'm going to clarify, I trust you to make the game both fun and fair,
Beyond that as the DM you are not to be trusted :P
Fighter/barbarian 3
Roy McCalow
Male Celtic
Is it 15 or 10 buy?
Magic item is a bag of holding with 500 gp of weapons jammed in it.
Fighter/barberian???? Why???
You gain almost nothing from the gesault
Why not rouge/barberian?
Yes you do.
Feats, weapon specialization, and rage powers. My gosh, it's useful.
Second, sure. It is a little strong for 3.5, but not so for palthinder.
Fine, much less versatile but somewhat better on action economy than my own character.
why not a +1 weapon say a +1 mithril great sword or great axe .
Do you know how many non masterwork weapons you can get for 500 gp or how few masterwork ones

"I hit it with the hammer"
"It's so afraid of your manliness, it works now."
What commander badass would do.
Well then you accept your position as designated tank, considering i am an archer and Icehawk is a caster.
Witch mean we have a full combat party- others can play what they want.
(I can do heals if i need to.)
Well what do you suggest for class?
Hey Ice since its mostly negatives on that can I drop the negative stats to one each so it doesn't take more than it gives?
And that's the point. 500 go gives you an @$$ load of non masterwork weapons.
Meh, I'd go with the +1 weapon.
Ok...
See, just drop the wisdom mod, and the int mod. Your pretty much a dwarf.
But you are lacking a lot of other stats. Just go with dwarf.
Lord Foul II wrote: But you are lacking a lot of other stats. Just go with dwarf. Speed.
And as to what I would sugest for class
Maybe rouge barberian
Or ranger/barberian
If you had the int for it alchemist/barberian.
icehawk333 wrote: Lord Foul II wrote: But you are lacking a lot of other stats. Just go with dwarf. Speed. barberian fast movement,
Ya but this is cooler and fits barbarian fighter better.
Also. PLAID.
Also with barbarian it brings me back to normal movement speed.
16str
16con
8dex
7wis
7int
8cha
What do I get for a favored class? Or do they just work well together?
Hey I found a racial archetype of witch that uses con as a castin stat, it's a half Orc thing,
With this archetype you cast better when you rage,
Would you just stop it, will?
Tybalt Baneko wrote: What do I get for a favored class? Or do they just work well together? That's a 3.5 thing. Races no longer have individual favored classes.

Stop what? It's thematic it's the scarred witch doctor, I'm contemplating doing witch and ran across this one.
