Gunsmithing Purchases For Ammunition

I can't seem to find anything that states that I can't purchase magic or masterwork ammunition at the listed discounted rates that the gunsmithing feat allows in PFS. I've only read that people didn't see why you couldn't and those that thought you couldn't, but no one has stated an official yes or no.

I would say no - the logic behind that PFS rule is that you get the price as if you were crafting the ammo yourself. In play other than PFS you can only craft mundane ammo.

buying bane ammo for my greater reliability pistol is cheaper than trying to get the ban ability added to my gun

You couldn't combine the two, though. Your gun would essentially be a +4, and your ammo a +3. The higher enchantment would take effect.

Unless you're looking to buy +2 Bane Bullets, but why not just buy a different gun?
