So in one of my campaigns, a cleric of shelyn is looking to enchant his glaive so he could use it adjacent as well as reach like the rod of razors in part 5 of kingmaker. What should the price of such an enchantment be? +1?

I'd make it a feat, instead. Looking at the polearm master archetype for fighter, you have a great mechanic you can adapt to a feat. Unlike the polearm master, however, your penalties would never be reduced by level.

Example

Short Haft (Combat)
A character with this feat can shorten the grip on his spear or polearm with reach and use it against adjacent targets.
Prerequisites Base attack bonus +3, Dexterity 11
Benefit As an immediate action, a character can shorten the grip on his spear or polearm with reach and use it against adjacent targets. This action results in a -4 penalty on attack rolls with that weapon until he spends another immediate action to return to the normal grip.

Still I'm trying to make it useable without penalty and without using a feat, just a weapon ability like the Rod of Razors.

If it is OGL, can you post the stats? I know nothing about it, so can't really try to "reverse-engineer" it with the magic item creation methods.

Lantern Lodge

I would make it +1, but I am pretty generous overall.

Yeah I was thinking about the same.
