Dwarven Racial Feat: Light Rider

Homebrew and House Rules

You are skilled at riding, and light for your size, allowing smaller mounts to bear you with ease.
Prerequisites: Dwarf, Ride 1 rank, must be taken at first level.
Benefit: You are treated as Small for the purposes of determining suitable mounts. This feat does not stack with other size-affecting effects--reduce person will not allow you to act as if you were Tiny.

I'm not very experienced with homebrew stuff, so thoughts? A player of mine wants to play a dwarf cavalier, but she was disappointed with the choices she's given at 5th level. I thought I'd see if something could be done about it. A pony is no mount for a dwarf!

So, is it balanced enough to give to my player?

It seems fine to me.
