Looking for gamers around Boise Idaho

Gamer Connection

I am currently looking for any games or players (I am willing to GM) around Boise Idaho. I tend to like role-playing over roll-playing, I always feel that rules are there to help the game not take away from the fun. If any questions or interested hit me up on here or send me a message at chaseconk@gmail.com. Hope to hear from you and happy gaming!

Consider me interested!

I refer campaign play. I tend to be serious—not uptight, but I don't usually go for joke characters.

I am not from Boise, but the end of the known universe (Ontario Oregon). Boise is about a 45 minute drive, so the frequency of how often you played would be a factor. Eventually, it would get better for me. Right now we're a one car family, but I hope to buy another late this year or early next year.

Well I don't live in boise but it was more knowen then caldwell. But from what you have said that is what I like in a campaign, I have a homebrew setting that I was running but if you tend to like published I can look into that or if you are interested in GMing thats fine by me. But maybe I am getting ahead of my self, what days and times work best for you? And would you be alright with driving to caldwell?

Caldwell would be fine!

I'm fine with homebrew, but I like published adventures (heck, I write them!)

Sunday is not good.

Saturday can be good, but occasionally the car is needed. That might have to be "check your calenders" sort of day.

Most evenings are fine.

How often were looking to play? Once a week, monthly, twice a month?

I'll be candid: I do play in a fairly regular weekly Pathfinder game on MapTools. I just miss real face to face contact and camaraderie. To save money, my wife and I share a car. I currently work from home, and I freelance for Paizo. I'm hoping to get a large project this summer, and those are quite work intensive. Plus I'm going to PaizoCon.

For a guy without a Day Job, I can seem awfully busy. Lol

I *do* have a lot of free time, but I am limited in how often I can just jump in the car and go wherever I want. The needs of my wife's job have to come first until we buy another one, which won't be till the autumn at the soonest.

I should be able to play reliably about twice a month, every two weeks. IS that too infrequent for you?

Do you really write them yourself? Amazing, i have been writting my own but it still needs alot of work. Well what ever would work with you for meeting up would be fine with me. If driving to caldwell is a no go i can always see if i can car pool with my friend and we could meet up out there, i just figured caldwell so that i could host at my place just to make it a bit easier for everyone. If you would prefer you can always email me at chaseconk@gmail so that its not all posted here haha. But just let me know what would work for you and we will try to put something together. The days you have picked sound good to me most likely a saturday or friday night.

Whoa whoa whoa guys, I'm going to necro this thread from about a month ago. Is there still interest in gaming around the Boise area? I live up in the Eagle area, but for the most part I could head on in to the Caldwell region.

avefrater@hotmail.com if there's still interest. :)

Liberty's Edge

I just moved to Boise Area myself. I am looking to get into a game and possible do some PFS. I'm from california. So commutting the greater boise area is just fine by me.

Hey no problem, just let me know if things ever change. I am running a campaign right now but it looks like I will have some people dropping because of work and stuff, so we are always looking for new players.
