So I am going to try to write a adventure, and I was wondering of you have to use a map with the pawns. The only bad things I think for it are they will see what monsters are in my dungeon and just a little harder making it. How I thought I could do it is do it like describing and talking like the scenes in the beginners box. Please reply, thanks

You don't have to use a map or pawns, but some tactically-minded players like them.
If you do use a map, you don't have to draw the rooms or place the pawns down until they become visible. If I do pre-draw a map because it's got details drawn in like rocky walls and furniture, I'll sometimes cover the unexplored parts with black construction paper coated with a spray adhesive (it basically turns them into giant post-it sticky notes) and then peel them off room by room.
Or I make my life easier and give the PCs a map of the dungeon as an item in the game. That solves a lot of issues right there.
