Ashram based character

I am building a NPC based of the character Ashram from Record of Lodoss War.
I was thinking having him serve Queen Elvanna of Irrisen, but I dont how to approach his class make up precisely. I was thinking a human anti-paladin, but that just seems to chaotic. Lawful Evil just seems perfect, but what class and feats would I give him?

I want to build him as though he could be a PC.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

"Lord Ashram
Known as the "Black Knight", Ashram is a highly skilled warrior and the former retainer and right-hand aide of Emperor Beld. He served Beld during the War of Heroes, and was sent in the front to deal with any possible resistance. After the death of Beld at the hands of Karla the Grey Witch in the OVA (or Kashue in the TV series), Ashram took up his blade, The Demon Sword Soul Crusher and returned to Marmo to regroup. Later on, Ashram seeks to dominate Lodoss rather than conquer it, as he looks for one of the governor's treasures, the Scepter of Domination. After the destruction of the scepter, Ashram is believed to have died in the fires of Fire Dragon Mountain, but it is later revealed that one of the agents of Wagnard sacrifices his powers (stripped by Wagnard himself) in order to save his life. Ashram is voiced by Akira Kamiya in the original OAV, and by Shō Hayami in the TV series. In the English version, he is voiced by John Knox in both series."

I haven't seen that series in a while...

All I recall of Ashram was that he had a personality of "evil, but honorable" and his main attributes were being a highly skilled swordsman, owning an awesome magic sword, and having a hot girlfriend.

So... LE Fighter w/ Eldritch Heritage for an arcane bond sword? You could adapt the Lawful Evil Paladin of Tyranny for Pathfinder, maybe.

I don't remember Ashram having any special skills beyond being an extremely skilled swordsman. I would build him as a pure fighter without any modification. He used heavy armor in the show and could benefit from some feats that avail him of the use of his high Dex mod, but that's about it.

What aspects of Ashram are you trying to model? Is there a specific reason why you feel he wouldn't be a pure fighter?

The Hell Knight Commander might work. It is the closest thing, that I can think of, to a Lawful Evil Paladin.

I think the Hellknight plate would be particularly appropriate, as I seem to remember him moving fairly quickly despite his heavy armour. I would stay away from the summoning disciplines and instead go with things like "Onslaught" or "Fearsomeness."

You have a very good point. I was just thinking off adding a magical element to the character aspect, but I think a just a plain fighter that with that kind of conviction could be scary.

Weapon: Longsword
Armor: Plate

Any ideas for feats?

Ashram struck me as a Cavalier. Order of Cockatrice (It IS all about him and his destiny after all). Same with Parn, except it's all about his friends.
