Vironus Antilles - Gladiator |

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
The caged bird, as you say, knows the odds are against him, but against these odds, he fights for his freedom.
Vi moves towards the man, shielding himself as he approaches.
Move to E17 without provoking an AoO

Vironus Antilles - Gladiator |

Dropping his shield, Vironus pulls out two wickedly sharp blades, that apart from a few splashes of blood, look hardly used at all.
Perhaps your death will be the first by these blades, the man says as he lashes out back at the man.
Attack: 9
Damage: 4
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Ha. Natural 1 for both. I think you've won already. :p

Vironus Antilles - Gladiator |

Taking a good amount of damage from the hits just received, the man jolts from pain, before unleashing both of his blades on his opponent, before 5ft stepping backwards.
Attack 1: 24
Damage: 6
Attack 2: MISS!
Damage: 4
In D16
Anyway, my attacks:
Attack 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Attack 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Vironus Antilles - Gladiator |

Dude, you've gotta say when you move towards me, else you'll be attacking thin air, like now, but I'm going to be nice and say you moved towards me to do the above attack.
Zouh is now in E17
With the Monk constantly closing in on him, Vironus takes another hit, but not before swiping out with his blades twice, before stepping backwards once more.
Attack 1: 26 (Crit range)
Damage: 5
Attack 2: 22
Damage: 7
Crit Confirmation Roll: 12 (Yea, not gonna crit)
Damage: 6
Now in C15
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Crit Confirmation Roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Vironus Antilles - Gladiator |

Okay, well it's your turn. Though did you deal 1 damage or 4 to me on your critical earlier, because I'd just like a little break down if possible please, so I get my HP calculations correct. :)
5ft step to D16
Avoiding the last few hits, Vi tries to finish the man off with two final blows, swinging furiously at the guy in front of him.
Attack 1: 22
Damage: 4
Attack 2: 14
Damage: 4
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Attack 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Sorry man, I messed something up. My first attack against you in the last round should do an extra 2 damage to you, as it's 1d6+3, not 1d6+1, so I've dealt 24 damage to you, including the damage from this round, as I doubt 14 hits you. :)

Vironus Antilles - Gladiator |

Although a long shot, Vi swipes you once with his sword, hoping to hit you, before rolling backwards to gain some ground.
Move with acrobatics to E13
Attack 1: 18
Damage: 9
Acrobatics: 14
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Really hoping that hits, but I don't think it will.

Vironus Antilles - Gladiator |

Damn that trip!
As Vi rose up to slice Zouh, with Victory seemingly in his grasp, it also turned out to be the mans undoing. Taking the damage, he slipped unconscious and dropped to the arena floor once more.
Congrats on your win. :) How bad off were you? Call it gut instinct, but I was thinking one more well placed attack would have done it. Issue was I couldn't stay on the floor as I would have been done for, so I had to get up and unfortunately, that's one AoO you can't prevent. Good game. :)

Avenath's Pride |

:Round 10:
Attack 11d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 231d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Attack 31d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 71d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
"Even the caged bird will fight for its life it seems"
Attack 1: 23
Damage 1: 7
Attack 2: 16
Damage 2: 6
Attack 3: miss

Trihedron |

Trihedron steps into the pit (L10 I believe) and surveys the area - his eyes setting on the goblin across the expanse from him.
He offers a respectful nod without a word, one of his hands holding a bow, the other one holding a vial.
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
PMed the vial nature.
Init: 13

The Hirtz Factor |

I do believe that puts me starting at A10
The little goblin would look curiously at the dwarf. He appeared rather small for a goblin and carried nothing that resembled a weapon. However, the little goblin did seem to be clutching a vial of some sort.
Initiative: 21
It might take me a little bit, but I should have a surprise round post up within the hour. Sorry for the delay.

The Hirtz Factor |

Surprise Round
With a practiced ease, the little goblin would pull a vial free from the tattered clothing he wore. Popping the cap as he raised it to his mouth, the little goblin would quickly imbibe the contents of the container.
Current Hit Points: 30/30
Current AC: 21 (10, +8 Dex, +1 Size, +2 Natural Armor)
Mutagen: 200 Rounds
There we go, that went up pretty quickly.
Sorry about that, I forgot the visible effects.
As the substance started to take its effects on the little goblin, his teeth and nails would elongate while his skin seemed to take on a leathery consistency.

Trihedron |

The dwarf's eyebrows seem to raise ever so slightly as he witnesses the transformation.
Flurry of Arrows with Perfect Strike.
Flurry of Arrows 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 221d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Flurry of Arrows 1 Perfect Strike: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 101d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Flurry of Arrows 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 211d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
If "Hatred" comes into play, we should add +1 to the "to hit" values above.
Showing no further emotion, he bursts into motion, dropping the vial into the dirt next to him (K9 if possible), firing two arrows at his opponent in quick succession, and sidesteping closer to the pillar (K9).
Ok, so if the dwarven racial "Hatred" comes into play, we need to add +1 to these "to-hit" values :D
Hit1: 22 || Damage: 8
Hit2: 21 || Damage: 6
You're up.
Actually, after I posted I started wondering if I can actually do a Flurry - is this a Surprise round, or simply the first round? If surprise, my apologies and please consider only the first hit :/

The Hirtz Factor |

Round 1
Unless you have an ability or magic item that allows you to take more than a standard action during the surprise round, you cannot flurry during it. So I'll take the first attack into account.
The little goblin would scream at the dwarf as an arrow found its mark in his leathery hide.
"Stupid dwarf will pay for that!"
Then, swiftly he would pull forth another concoction and drink it before downing the vial he had came into the arena with. As the second substance took its effect, the little goblin would disappear from sight.
Free Action to speak.
Standard Action to drink Shield Extract.
Move Action to drink Potion of Vanish.
Current Hit Points: 22/30
Current AC: 25 (10, +8 Dex, +1 Size, +2 Natural Armor)
Mutagen: 199 out of 200 Rounds
Shield Extract: 20 out of 20 Rounds
Potion of Vanish: 2 out of 2 Rounds

Trihedron |

Last time I tried sneaking around the arena, I did it through PMs to the Arbiter and it dragged a lot, so I'm not doing it again - I'll put it in a spoiler instead to move things along :D
Muttering something under his breath about invisible people, Trihedron picks up the vial he had previously dropped and moves away back to the wall of the pit.
Move action: Pick up the vial
Move action: Stealth movement behind the pillar and towards J04 along the wall of the pit.
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Perception DC24 to spot Trihedron moving - this should be modified by +1 for each 10' distance, I would say we are at least 30' apart, so I would throw out there a DC of 26/27 - I'll leave it up to you.
If Gnasher moved, let me know because I'll try a perception to at least have a general idea of where he could be, and it may change my current action.
You're up ;)

Trihedron |

He moved initially to the left, and then I guess out of sight behind the pillar?

The Hirtz Factor |

Round 2
Action hidden from sight.
Move Action to move Stealthily to C8.
Stealth 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (5) + 32 = 37
Current Hit Points: 22/30
Current AC: 25 (10, +8 Dex, +1 Size, +2 Natural Armor)
Mutagen: 198 out of 200 Rounds
Shield Extract: 19 out of 20 Rounds
Potion of Vanish: 1 out of 2 Rounds
The goblin has moved. If C8 offers a clear view of Trihedron, no cover of any sort, the little goblin can see you. Otherwise, no perception check made.

Trihedron |

Not even going for that perception roll :D
And no, C8 does not offer a clear view of Trihedron ;)
Free action: drop potion in hand
Move action: Stealth to F04 (draw potion while moving)
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Standard Action: Drink potion of Sanctuary
You do not see the dwarf skulking around, but you believe you may have heard something...
Trihedron has moved somewhere behind the pillar F05/G05 ;)

The Hirtz Factor |

Round 2
The little goblin would suddenly fade back into sight, just as quickly as he had faded from sight as he downed the contents of yet another vial.
Hearing something coming from off to his side, the little goblin would quickly extract another concoction from his tattered clothing and drink it. This time, his wounds would seem to stitch themselves back together, leaving him with but a minor scrape as the arrow is forced from his system.
Move Action to drink Potion of Mage Armor.
Standard Action to drink Cure Light Wounds Extract.
Cure Light Wounds Extract - Level 2 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Current Hit Points: 29/30
Current AC: 29 (10, +8 Dex, +1 Size, +2 Natural Armor, +4 Shield, +4 Armor)
Mutagen: 197 out of 200 Rounds
Shield Extract: 18 out of 20 Rounds
Potion of Mage Armor: 10 out of 10 Rounds
Edit: He is in C8 and made the perception check.

Trihedron |

Knowing that the dwarf is skulking around, Gnasher is particularly attentive and notices the dwaf hiding just behind the pillar (F04).
Does your action remain the same?

Trihedron |

Assuming your action remains the same to proceed with this, let me know if otherwise:
The dwarf reaches for his own vial, paralleling the goblin's actions, and drinks it, dissapearing from sight
Drinking potion of Vanish
Using Stealth to move to B05
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 + 20 ⇒ (14) + 8 + 20 = 42
Perception check DC42 to spot Trihedron.
You're up ;)

The Hirtz Factor |

Round 3
Seeing his opponent disappear from sight, the little goblin would pull another vial from his tattered clothing while looping behind the pillar he stood by.
Ends at B10.
Move Action to retrieve Potion of Cure Light Wounds.
Move Action to move to B10.
Current Hit Points: 29/30
Current AC: 29 (10, +8 Dex, +1 Size, +2 Natural Armor, +4 Shield, +4 Armor)
Mutagen: 19+ out of 200 Rounds
Shield Extract: 17 out of 20 Rounds
Potion of Mage Armor: 9 out of 10 Rounds

Trihedron |

You see the dwarf image blurring and then coalescing almost in front of you (B05), at the same time as you notice some sort of bag has been thrown in your direction.
Throw tanglefoot bag
Tanglefoot Bag Touch attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 2 - 2 = 18
Modifiers:+2 for being invisible, -2 from range increment
5' step to B04.
As the bag flies, it comes apart and goo bursts out.
Attack vs. touch AC with no dexterity bonuses applied since attacker was invisible - Hit: 18
Ok, so if it hits you are entangled and need additionally a Reflex Save DC 15 or you are glued to the floor - Tanglefoot Bag
Trihedron takes a step back after throwing it (moved to B04).

The Hirtz Factor |

Round 4
The little goblins eyes would go wide as he sees the projectile heading his way. While he is not quite fast enough to dodge out of the way, he does manage to keep the substance from gluing him to the spot.
Now my question is, can you use all of your attacks to try break out of a tanglefoot bag or just one per turn...? Also, would my claws and bite count as slashing weapons for getting rid of it...?
Waiting for clarification on a few questions...
Current Hit Points: 29/30
Current AC: 27 (10, +6 Dex, +1 Size, +2 Natural Armor, +4 Shield, +4 Armor)
Mutagen: 195 out of 200 Rounds
Shield Extract: 16 out of 20 Rounds
Potion of Mage Armor: 8 out of 10 Rounds

Trihedron |

Thing is, if you manage the Reflex Save, I don't really think you need to break out or free of it, you are not glued in place and are only subject to the Entangled condition. Right?
On a side note: Won't be able to post for a couple of hours.

The Hirtz Factor |

Round 4 - Finished for Gnasher
Those are questions I would like answered, but I'll keep things moving.
Slowly, but surely the little goblin would force his way forward to box in his frustrating opponent. Ends in C5.
Current Hit Points: 29/30
Current AC: 27 (10, +8 Dex, +1 Size, +2 Natural Armor, +4 Shield, +4 Armor, -2 Charge)
Mutagen: 195 out of 200 Rounds
Shield Extract: 16 out of 20 Rounds
Potion of Mage Armor: 8 out of 10 Rounds
The entangled condition is still no fun.

Trihedron |

Apologies for this kind of game man, but I honestly think Trihedron does not stand a chance against Gnasher and have been trying to delay the defeat as best as possible.
Seeing the goblin approach, Trihedron tries to sommersault away from his attacker.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Acrobatics to move out of the corner to E4 - managed to hit DC22 and I am betting your CMD is above that - take your AoO in that case before I resolve the rest of my round (if any).
And I have seen your other bouts man, with people missing against your astronomic AC - entangled is nothing compared to what you have going there, so lets finish this so you can get to your next bout ;)
