Paizo / Pathfinder at Origins: What's the scoop?

Paizo General Discussion

[My apologies if this is in the wrong place; I couldn't find a Conventions section.]

I'm considering going to the Origina Game Fair this year. What sort of presence will Paizo and/or Pathfinder have there?

In particular:
* If I wanted to try out Pathfinder Society play, would that be available?
* Would a tryout of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game be available? I know it isn't released until GenCon (I think), but I can still hope for a preview. :-)

I know that in the past, Paizo has not had an official presence (read: booth) at Origins.

However, I'm certain that there will be PFS play, if nothing else.

I wouldn't know enough to say about the card game, but since it's supposed to come out at Gen Con, I'd say it's doubtful.

There has been some very extensive Pathfinder Society play at Origins. I've gone the past two years, and the local Venture captain and volunteers have done fantastic work. Keep an eye on the Origins site for event/game listings.

Silver Crusade

This year we will have over 200 slots. My last count was at 204 total slots. Last year we successfully ran 122 tables with the vast majority being 6-7 player tables.

This year we are going to be running all 4 parts of Eyes of the Ten series for those characters at level 12. Then we are looking to run a level 12+ table of Race for the Runecarved Key. There is also Academy of Secrets on the schedule for those level 12s that have already played Race. On Sunday, we look to cap it all off with Tomb of the Iron Medusa. Other highlights for PFS at Origins include the running of Thornkeep from Pathfinder Online, Part 1 of Jason Buhlman’s special dungeon in the PFS Special: Ruins of Bonekeep, the EX Special Day of the Demon, and the brand new scenarios released in April and May. Mike Brock will be on hand to GM some Bonekeep tables pushing the players to their limit. I even have a GM flying in from Australia to take part in all the fun. Lastly, we are looking to end Origins with a lot of fun for those who stick around. We are holding our first annual Goblin Bash. That’s right, we will be ending it all with Goblin fun. We will be running We Be Goblins followed by the debut of We Be Goblins 2 (outside of Free RPG Day). There may even be an appearance by some Goblins looking to see how devious of a Goblin everyone is being.
