Greetings,
I have a question regarding mundane equipment. I've just GMed a PFS session and during the session the Pathfinders found 2 masterwork studded leather armors and 2 masterwork saps. Now, my question is, would the Pathfinders be able to sell the masterwork items for a profit in addition to the monetary rewards granted for the encounter? Or is such a profit factored into the monetary reward with the assumption being that the Pathfinders sell the equipment?
For that matter, does mundane equipment (such as a masterwork sap) follow the same rules as equipment found on the Chronicle Sheets in that, once the scenario is over, you need to buy the sap for your character in order for him or her to use it in future scenarios?
I'm actually surprised that I was unable to answer this question for my player and I'm quite sure I've missed something somewhere.

No problem. I found the relevant Guide text if you don't want to just take my word for it.
Note: You may use any item that you find during the scenario for free until the end of the scenario, but you must purchase the item when the scenario is over in order for your character to be able to continue to use the item. This rule is most applicable to consumables such as potions, scrolls, and so on, but also applies to weapons, magic items, and so on.

I'll take the word of a Venture Lieutenant. :) But yeah, now that I read the page, I can't quite fathom how I missed it in the first place. :D
