Question about Mammon

Which of Mammon's domains do people feel best represent the strive for wealth/greed angle of his portfolio? I'm thinking it's either Artifice or Earth from his list but any ideas and explanations people might come up with for any of his domains would be greatly appreciated.

The Metal and Toil sub-domains work too.

Yeah but I'm trying to figure out which one best represents the monetary greed of his following and need to figure out which of his 2 domains matches that the most appropriately.

To explain I'm trying to create a religious pantheon of the 8 archdevils that focuses on administering power in its various forms to it's followers in exchange for your endless damnation. That being said a small list of domains is usually associated with the cult as they represent the 3 powers most often sought after by those seeking to worship the 8 (forbidden knowledge, money, rulership). Currently I have it as Evil, Knowledge, Law, and Nobility but can't decide which domain of Mammon's best fits the greed angle since artifice gives followers the ability to create the things they want while Earth gives the metal subdomain which fits the whole coins angle.

Greed is more than just gold. Greed is the want of what they do not have, and a willingness to harm others to get it. Thus I would say Artifice trumps Earth. I misspoke earlier when I suggested the Toil sub-domain. The Construct sub-domain applies better, both with the replacement spells (limited wish and polymorph any object) and the animate servant (devils love slaves).

Sweet, thanks for the help man. Now time to start building I gotta build a game around dealing with some of these guys.

Good luck
