In case it wasn't clear, YAMT stands for Yet Another Monk Thread.
A while back, before the latest update to the Monk, I wondered what it would have been like if the Pathfinder Monk kept the D&D 3.5 Flurry of Blows ability.
Over time, I took that concept and tweaked it here and there.
Thought I'd put it up here in case anyone actually cared to take a look at it. And better yet, if you feel like playing it, even better. And if anyone is even willing to offer constructive criticism, I'd be ecstatic. :)
I don't expect much out of it. It seems everyone and their cohort has their own opinions of making the monk better. And I'm no one special. At the very least, this link will be someplace searchable and I can find it again if I lose it.
Just to make it easier for people, what have you changed?

Well, where to begin?
- Went back to more of a D&D 3.5 flurry of blows, except removed the reduction of the penalty. Instead, added in a class feature that gave a scaling bonus to weapons of the Monk Weapon group (Monastic Weapons).
- Monastic Weapons: Scaling bonus to attack rolls for Monk weapons. If the monk gains the ability to flurry with a non-monk weapon, he adds this bonus to attack rolls for that weapon.
- Added a lot of the Greater maneuver feats as bonus feats.
- Changed the Ki Strike abilities: Magic (4th), Cold Iron/Silver (8th), Adamantine (12th), Axiomatic (16th), Holy/Unholy (20th).
- Added a "Ki Power" ability, which allows them to cast some spells as spell-like abilities.
- Added new feats: Improved Ki Pool (use monk level + twice Wisdom modifier), Enhanced Unarmed Strike (+1 enhancement bonus/4 Monk levels to unarmed attack rolls).
- Made Wholeness of Body a swift action; heals 2 x Monk level.
- Abundant Step is swift action, and you can take actions after using it
- Removed extra speed for a ki point; instead, move 1/2 speed for the swift action.
- Added capstone ability Flurry Master: lets you flurry as a standard action.
- Other changes I probably can't remember now.
I like the Enhanced Unarmed Strike idea, I might borrow that one. Everything else looks good.
