The company is Renaissance Miniatures and their stuff looks awesome. Last year they had the medieval village Kickstarter, this time it is east asian. For anyone running Jade Regent or anything set in Tian Xia this is a must have. I will be adding some of these models to Sandpoint myself.
Oh, and they funded on Day 1.

They have done a really good job with their feed-back from the last KS. Posting regular updates and videos of all stages of the production. A top-notch professional company, with open and honest practises.

Yep, they've reached a couple more stretch goals including a free Hwacha for everyone who orders over $45.
Then they have created an amazing peasant village set, which could easily work for non-Oriental settings (barring the gate).
Next goal is new paint schemes, to give even more variety and for those L5R players that want a specific clan.
Wow, they've just revealed the fishing village. It's very impressive, there seems to be a lot of choice.
And since it's modular you can pack them away when you don't need it.
Like all good KS's though they are taking time to listen to backers requests and thoughts. As well as having clear goals and delivery dates.
