Hi guys I recently got the tiny Caedimus mini and was wondering what/who is he. I have not found any info on him anywhere, so if anyone knows it be a great help.
Pathfinder Battles Preview: Starting Small with the Shattered Star: "Good Caedimus is a rank-and-file derro. We've given him a specific name to differentiate him from the other derro in the set (which we'll show off soon), but like the Mite, Caedimus is currently slated at the common rarity."

A point: it would be really cool if the named minis were easier to figure out. I had a heck of a time with Malfeshnekor from Rise of the Runelords; I couldn't tell by sight what kind of creature it was, and "Malfeshnekor" didn't help a hell of a lot.
If in the future named creatures were labeled as "Malfeshnekor (barghest)" [for example] I would imagine it would be little extra effort yet infinitely more helpful for those of us who can't identify every creature from all the bestiaries, adventure paths and every other published source by sight :)

Unfortunately, in many cases that would defeat the purpose for using a character name.
A barghest as a wolf/goblin/outsider is originally from OGL material. As the minis are not produced under the OGL, it could get legally dicey. Far better to just name it something different (which is the name used in the AP the set is based on) than to get into any legal grey areas.
Which is also why we see Wrath and Treachery Demons.
Of course in the case of Caedimus it also differentiates him from the other Derro.

So I dont know how useful this might be now but let me explain something apparently everyone missed, seemingly forever ago. This mini is what a Derro use to be. Basically a Derro was a Caedimus who went succomed to madness from their unknown diety. The Monster Manual for DnD should have told you that or the Bestiary for Pathfinder. When a Derro gets cured of his madness, he turns back into a Caedimus. I think his Charisma drops by at least 6 and his Wisdom increases by the same amount.
Long story short, They are Caedmius, not Derro. They become Derro due to madness.
