Making Temporary Hitpoints be Lost Last

I've been working on a way to make pounce be used for a Monk, and Im looking specifically at Synthesist as this can also grant a few other bonuses.

The only issue with this is that the hitpoints of the Eidolon are lost FIRST as they class as temporary hitpoints. While they'll do the job of granting pounce for the first round of combat, it means that I cannot actually get Pounce again for the rest of the day if I am hit once, especailly at higher levels where 11 hitpoints isn't shit.

Does anyone have any idea on how to get temporary hitpoints be lost LAST instead of first? It's dangerous, but I think that'll be worth it.


After a little prying into Synthesist, I realised something amazing.

Life Link allows me to, when my Eidolon would be reduced to 0 hitpoints, spend my own hitpoints instead in order to keep it alive.
