Alias profile editing not working.

I tried to look if similar thread existed but my search-fu is kinda weak so sorry if a repeat.

So the problem. I play at one of the pbp here, we happened to level and when I tried to update the sheet it didn't work. So I would like to know what is the problem and how to fix it.

Now the scenario:

-Push edit button to copy paste the thing into word since I know there is a timelimit on the thing.
-Close the edit profile.
- After completing the update in the word I open up the profile to edit again and remove the old stuff and paste the updated version.
- Does not change the profile of the alias and moves me to this page
- Later tried even preview and even that did not work moving to the same page. I also tried multiple times in case the boards were just messing up temporarily but no such luck.
Note: And since my fellow players could update their profiles I am almost 100% it is something on my end.

It may not be something on your end—if your profile is over around 64,000 characters (about 12,00 words) it may be silently getting dumped. Fixing that is on the todo list.

Well that wasn't the case since the profile in question is about 1/10th of that long. Thanks for the reply all the same. And that is usefull bit of infromation.

I managed to update the thing from another computer confirming it is indeed on my end that is the problem. If I can locate the problem and fix it(more likely me being able to fix it than know why.) I will make sure to post my findings so if someone else comes across the problem they might benefit from the knowledge.
