Converting 3.5 Orb Spells

I know there has been discussion on this topic, but to be specific...

Assuming you agree that they need to be nerfed, how would you change the Orb spells from the Complete Arcane for play in PF? Specifically, Orb of Acid.

I don't think they need a nerf, just to be changed over to be Evocation spells.

They all become a level higher and are evocation spells. Done.

As long as evocation is also shorthand for SR=Yes, I agree that evocation gets the job done. Level bump I have a mixed mind about.

They aren't in the SRD, but appear in Complete Arcane and Spells Compendium. The 3.0 versions that appeared in the small splat book, I forget the name, are themselves Ecocation and SR=yes, and are pretty workable as is.
