Everyone anticipates in the world some imminent breakthrough which will
'fix' all our problems. Analogous to the prehistoric transition from
flaking stones to grinding stones; or that earlier breakthrough and
transition from hunting to farming.
It is likely that the coming breakthrough will have equally profound
implications and perhaps coincide with outmigration from the Earth.
But, you know what?? NOT IN YOUR LIFETIME. GET BACK TO WORK.
