Your friendly Tulsa VC here! I'm trying to get an idea of how many people are (1) in Oklahoma and (2) actually play PFS. If you're in Oklahoma, please reply with:
1) Roughly where you are (Eastern OK, by Tulsa, Stillwater)
2) How many people you game with
3) Days/times you run slots
I'm working to get some weekend slots going, as well as some in-store events so your feedback is needed and appreciated.

The Tulsa area has died for organized play. It was strongish during the Living Greyhawk days, but 4th ed literally ran people off. I'm sure that there are Pathfinder players in Tulsa, and several who play PFS with a small group...but they aren't organized. We have had a few come in from Tulsa..but they don't like the drive :-/

That's the part that I don't understand. I've been to /every/ game store in Tulsa. They have Pathfinder products. People are buying them. It would seem logical that people would want to play in groups and have events and such. I had /packed/ tables at Tokyo in Tulsa in July. Then... poof.
You would think that with LG and 4E, people would be defecting almost wholesale.
Everybody else: I'm willing to GM specials, come to your store and run First Steps, have a GM101 class, teach basic cartography, whatever. I just need (1) bodies (2) date/time suggestions (3) location suggestions.
Believe me, I would love to run games for people in Tulsa.. I just need.. well.. people to run them for..

I've been using Roll20 with another group and have really taken to it.. Anybody in the Tulsa area prefer to use VTT?
I want to be able to attend Tulsa area events or even VTT. I'm just typically busy with family stuff most evenings.
I'm recently trying to return to D&D. Last I played 3.5 was just coming out. And it looks like Pathfinder is going to be perfect for me, if I can find time to play.
I have a Fantasy Grounds license as far as VTT things go.
Brent Norton,
What store has such a large PFS showing?

I'm a student who moved to Tulsa and is interested in getting a PFS game going as well. Haven't had enough gaming lately and there will be lots of free time with summer coming up. Just chipping in to the discussion.
Semi-related note, does anyone know any good gaming stores around Tulsa? I've heard alien games down in Jenks is pretty good, going to try to go down there this weekend and see if there are of PF games around.

I'd be thrilled to show up at PFS events in Tulsa or Stillwater. Find me on FB or at ancientsensei at gmail.
There are enough Pathfinder players in the area to rock out a larger number of events. And in Tulsa, I got decent support from both local stores during RPG Superstar. I have an agreement I'll run Bitter Manor at both stores when it's released.
I work a lot, but if there's anything you need me to help with, Rob, I'd be happy to be more involved.

Ashern, the local game stores in Tulsa proper are Top Deck Games (Sheridan West of 31st Near the dollar theater) and Wizard's Asylum (Mingo just south of 71st street, behind Zio's). Top Deck is very miniatures-focused, but there are Pathfinder players there and they carry Pathfinder hardbound products. Wizard's carries the full line of Pathfinder stuff, but most of their casual gamers play these weird hybrids of 3.5/4e/Pathfinder. I'd like to get some charismatic folk together to get a great couple of Pathfinder games going so Paizo can seal up top-of-mind. THere are some devoted old-school types that I think would enjoy Rappanathuk or the Frog God Games approach.
Lemme know if you want to meet up at either place some weekend and I'll bring a few Pathfinder palyers so we can jam.
