Bard Concept Question

Hey everyone! I have an idea for a bard. I'm thinking a street performer type, but I'm not sure what my concept for his perform would be considered.

I'm trying to make one of those organ grinder people with the monkey. The player cranks the organ to play the music, while the monkey performs or goes to get the money. Here's a video of one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WeuWtYbjUY

What type of perform check would that be? Keyboard? Comedy? I'm not really sure, and the type affects which bard songs I can use.

My other performance idea is one of the Three Stooges (Comedy), but I don't want to unleash that upon Golarion just yet.

If you really want the monkey, the sea singer archetype can get one as a familiar. You lose some bardiness to get some sailorness, but you keep inspire courage.

I think he's looking more for what skill is appropriate.

True, but I've noticed that a monkey costs 3gp and is in Ultimate Equipment. The monkey would be flavor then, not a familiar, but then I'm a street performer.

Inspire courage is nice, but so is the Street Performer ability, Disappearing Act. All the sneak attackers would love being invisible for a round or two. Street Performers also get double the money on Day Job checks using perform, so there's that too.

I'll have to check which one makes more sense for the concept. What type of performance check would that be with the street organ and monkey though?

An instrument like that is probably a wind instrument, although a drum or keyboard would work as well; comedy would be fine as well, it just depends what you want your act to be.

Thanks for the responses! If I end up making this concept, it would probably be Comedy then, focusing more on the funny things the monkey and I could do.

does street performer keep versatile performance? if so i would say take comedy and wither wind or keyboard depending on which skills you want to get
