Purple Duck Games is proud to release the first product in 4 Winds Fantasy Gaming's GM Option's Line!.

----
Welcome to the first product in our new GM’s Options line. This entry, GM’s Options: NPCs I – Barbarians, Bards, and Clerics, presents the GM with two barbarians, two bards, and two clerics ready to use in their games. Each character is also presented at three different levels – 1st, 5th, and 10th – giving eighteen different choices for NPCs!

These NPCs can be used in a variety of ways – as villains, foes, or foils, as allies, or even as pregenerated PCs for one shot games or new players. For GMs using them solely as NPCs, we’ve included suggested boons for each entry – the 1st level version has one boon, the 5th level has two, and the 10th level version has three. A single PC can never benefit from more than one boon provided by a single NPC, though.

The NPCs each also have two traits, discussed in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Advanced Player’s Guide. If you do not wish to utilize the traits, simply remove them and any bonuses they provide. In addition, under languages, each NPC is listed as knowing a “local/regional” or “tribal” language. This is a bonus language to reflect any regional or tribal languages in the game other than common, and can be ignored if preferred.

And we've received a 5-star review of it over at RPGNow.com, too!

Grand Lodge

I am glad that this was released and will likely get it. But I do have a complaint though. I would still love to see the Monster Knowledge for the Bestiaries 2&3 be released THROUGH the GM's option line.

Hunter for over a year now you have been saying this was at the top of your list but then get side tracked and not do this. Is there a chance this will get taken care of now. The first Monster Knowledge has gone over like gang busters among my friends and ANY one I show it too.. including the Android App version of the Monster Knowledge too. If there was a Monster Knowledge of the Bestiaries 2&3 you would sell tons of them. I am not sure why this has not been done as of yet.

It is a great tool for GM's to have to be able to tell players what they roll for knowledge checks.. and THEY in turn like that type of information to be at hand.

Can we get some information on this and perhaps a timeframe???

Hi Deanoth,

I believe Robert is working on Bestiary 2 and will be working on the Tome of Monsters. Previously there was someone else who was working on Bestiary 3 and I've spoken to them recently and they are interested in completing it.

I'm hesitant to give a date because I know how busy Robert is and the other freelancer is someone that I have not personally worked with in the past. It is something that is in process, but not something that have my personal attention.

Right now, I'm working on trying to get Deus ex Historica out the door as well as a few other projects while Robert and the other freelancer pick away at the monster knowledge cards.

Indeed I am working on B2 and ToM. However, it is a low priority among the half-dozen projects I am working on at the moment. As I've explained before, two different freelancers were assigned these projects last year, and both had to hand it back for different reasons. That's why it was delayed, not once, but twice. With all the other stuff I was working on (including setting up the deal to sell 4 Winds to Purple Duck Games), this was a non-priority for the last several months.

It will get done. In time. It isn't a priority for me (unless Mark decides to make it a priority, because he's the boss now), though.
