Alright, so I play The Secret World, a new MMO, and there's a type of magic in it that I'd like to implement into a Pathfinder game, but I'm not really sure how to go about it. I know what I'd like to see in the class, but not so much on how to balance it and such.
So here's the way I see the magic as working in the Secret World --- It's called Chaos Magic:
Essentially, the combat focus of the magic is creating objects (mainly weapons) out of thin air and using them for a single attack. I'd like to create a character that can do just this, without making them massively overpowered, as I have a decent understanding of how powerful this could potentially be.
My thought is to have it have the ability to create small objects and simple weapons at 1st level, then at around 5th or so, somewhat larger objects and martial weapons. After reaching about or around level 10, the character would gain the ability to create more complex objects and exotic weapons. These weapons would all have the properties of the weapons that they are modeled after, including damage, crit modifiers, damage type, special attacks reach, etc. I'd like to make it so that they have proficiency in each weapon they create with their chaos magic.
Now for the weapon enhancements. My first thought is to make it so that they can disintegrate a weapon and take its enhancement into themselves, adding its effects to all applicable weapons that are created with their chaos magic (obviously you wouldn't be able to absorb the Keen enchantment and use that enchantment when you create bludgeoning weapons, however).
In addition, I'd like for them to be able to create other useful objects, such as rope, lockpicks, and other tools of trades to increase their ability with skill checks, if that is feasible.
There's also the one big thing that I've been thinking about. This supposed "Chaos" magic doesn't really have much Chaos built into it (y'know, aside from the fact that that guy just hit you with a crossbow bolt, a spear, and a rapier all in one turn), so I'd like to be able to add something more "Chaos-y" to it, allowing it to actually seem like something that generates discord on the battlefield.
Anyone have any advice, by chance? Is this even really feasible in Pathfinder, without breaking the game?

Red lights started going off as soon as you described how they desintergrate weapons.
This would allow them to purchase a single +1 flaming dager (8,000gp) and then have a theoretically infinite number of +1 flaming anythings. For that 8,000gp, they could make their 5 javelins all +1 flaming weapons, which is in an of itself a 40,000gp value.
So no, that isn't feasable because it would break the game in an instant. The Magus has a similar ability with his arcane pool, adding enchancements to weapons or a minute at a time, but he has to expend a resource to do it and it is only temporary.

I guess I didn't explain it to the degree that I had in mind. The idea is that they'd basically be more of a manifestation of a weapon. They wouldn't be something that would last forever (a few rounds at most, but they'd typically just go away at the end of the attack.) That's not quite what I meant when I asked if it would be gamebreaking anyway, as that's something that could easily be fixed anyway.
