So my party is only in book 3, so this is far reaching but one of my players (Gnome sorcerer Fey bloodline) has been doing alot of research on the first world and just dumped a lot of money into books on the first world. So I printed "The First World" by James Sutter from book 6 for her to read over.
Point being she noticed the quote, "Simply put, creatures of the First World do not die-at least, not without powerful magic. Cut off from the cycle of souls, a mortally wounded native reforms from the stuff of the First World after a variable amount of time."
This concerned her as we had just run Realm of the Fellknight Queen and she worried that Queen Rhoswen would simply reform and try again. This was put down by the other players as 1. The Fellknight Realm was cut off from the First World and 2. They had repaired the faenguard.
My concern is Nyrissa, if the PC do not pull her into the material plain to kill her will she simply reform? I noticed that book 6 says "If a First World creatures dies on a different plane, it ceases to exist." Is this the only way to kill Nyrissa or what?

My, my, very clever.
In my game Rhoswyn did indeed come back. While Nyrissa might reform again with all the energy she put into forming the First-World Blooms and her private realm odds are she won't come back for hundreds if not thousands of years (Material Plane time). Alternatively slaying her with Briar might be the exception to the rule (she still lives or part if her does, inside Briar and thus cannot reform so long as the sword exists).

THIS! This is how legacies are brought into the world!
And lo and behold! From an age undreamed off let me tell you about [insert name here], destined to bear the bewitched blade Briar, tasked with slaying the nemesis of the realm, a terror to behold: Nyrissa, having troubled the realm of man for uncount ages...
Or maybe the solution is buried deep in the archives sealed off behind the unpierceable barrier of Skywatch?
