To bad Paizo just doesn't let us have fun with it and still get credit for it.
I'm confused by this statement because you previously said you didn't like paperwork. If you want "credit" for playing, that involves paperwork. I don't know how an organized play campaign can provide credit without some way of tracking that credit any more than I know how a bank can provide credit without a way of tracking that either. It sounds to me like organized play isn't for you, and you may wish to ask your friends if they'd like to play a home game with you in addition to whatever Pathfinder Society play they may be doing at their local store.

Hohenstadt,
I certainly sympathize with your opinion, I also tend to the no paperwork side of GMing but I think you can get the best of both worlds. I run several scenarios a month in the standard 5 hour slot, and you get about one or two moments to really add your twist without changing the scenario in that time slot. I enjoy this but it doesn't fill that creative need you are talking about.
I also run a home game that is also PFS legal, and where time in not a factor. We ran First Steps Part 1, a standard 5 hour scenario, over three sessions and twelve hours total and everyone loved it. I didn't have to add any content, just lots of RP, but I did get use my creative side.
Just my two coppers.

Good news! Found a GM to take over PFS OP at our local game store. He will be doing all the paper work and such. I will assist as necessary as a favor to the store and friends playing there. We had 2 tables last session of 6 each players. Had 3 others show up to get characters generated. The outgoing PFS OP GM that does all the paperwork now, helped them with that. The new GM and I ran the the 2 tables.
I have decided to continue on as PFS OP GM for the fun and enjoyment of others plus support of my FLGS as long as needed. And yes I will abide by the standards and rules as I have been for OPs I've ran thus far.
Thanks all.
