Looking for St. Louis or St. Charles PF Group

Gamer Connection

So I'm trying to get back into P&P gaming. I haven't played anything since my teenage days playing D&D 2nd edition, MERPG, Star Wars (The old school D6 ruleset), and ShadowRun.

My fiance encouraged me to pick up the beginners box set a few weeks ago. She humored me by playing with me, though it isn't her interest at all. So I'm hoping to find a group of people to actually play with locally or even online.

My history has always been the DM and I'd like to DM eventually in PF, I've already started working on a campaign and I've been using CC3 to play overland maps and dungeons. My groups have always been inexperienced and so have, so I'm not sure if I'm actually any good at it :)

I can be reached at caermordrin@gmail.com

I'd be interested in a st charles game. I'm new to pathfinder as well. PM me.

I'm moving into the Southside, near Tower Grove Park. Love to find a local game. Years of experience with RPGs, from C&S to GURPS to QAGS. Even have a friend who's an MIB for SJG.

Hey Edward, I'm still looking myself nearly found a group however their play times conflicted with classes I take on Tuesday evenings. Might work out for you, see link below. Otherwise I'm still looking, but at this point I think I'm just going to have to organize one myself.

So if you want to shoot me your e-mail, mine is in my first post and times you'd be interested in I'll see if I can coordinate something.

It might help if you included what state? We have a St. Louis and St. Charles not that far away here in Michigan...

Yeah you are right, sorry about that, St. Louis and St. Charles MO :)

Shadow Lodge

<Sigh> yeah, I was afraid you weren't talking about Michigan. ;)

I'll point out there are several Pathfinder Society events in your area.

Brett is in charge of PFS in your area, even if you're not interested in PFS, he'd probably also know about other games going on in the area and I'm sure he'd be more than happy to point you in the direction you'd like.

Thanks for the help Eric! Totally new to this community so I appreciate the direction. I'll try reaching out to Brett.

Eric - Thanks for posting my info! I don't often check the Gamer Connection boards, so I probably never would have seen it!

Currently, there are a lot of games going on in our area, Caer! I'll list the PFS stuff first, then some possible avenues for non-PFS games.

Tuesdays:
Every week: 6:30 PM, Game Nite, 8330 Watson Rd., St. Louis, MO

Wednesdays:
Every week: 6:30 PM, Game Nite, 8330 Watson Rd., St. Louis, MO

Thursdays:
Twice a month: 6 PM, St. Charles Fantasy Shop, 2426 West Clay, St. Charles, MO
(Check with store for which weeks are the "on" weeks. It can be sporadic.)

Saturdays:
Once a month: 10 AM, 3 PM, 8 PM, St. Charles Fantasy Shop, 2426 West Clay, St. Charles, MO
(This is our monthly area game day. The next one is on Feb 2.)

Sundays:
Every week: Noon, 258 Fort Zumwalt Square, O'Fallon, MO
Every week: (Two sessions, check with store for times) Ogre's Games, 4501 S Kingshighway Blvd, St Louis, MO

(There are a few of budding groups starting up at the Florissant Fantasy Shop, B and B games in Eureka, and at SCGN Loft in Washington, MO. Their schedule hasn't solidified since last I communicated with them.)

Now, as for non-Society games, your best option is likely to check the various posting boards at Game Nite and the various Fantasy Shop locations (St. Charles, Florissant, Maplewood, and South County). I regularly see people find home games through those means. Unfortunately, I'm in a couple of home games of my own at the moment, so I end up glossing over most of those flyers. They're definitely present, though!

If you need any more information, please don't hesitate to email me!

Shadow Lodge

I appear to be a little bit late to this party, but I'll just add quickly that the scheduled times at Ogre's on Sunday are 1:00 and 6:00, though both of those are flexible to ensure that everyone gets a chance to join, since some people work that morning. Right now we're working our way through early-middle season 3, since that's what most of our players haven't gotten to, but as we've had some new arrivals lately our flexibility is increasing. Hope we can see you there!

I am the Gm of a pathfinder game in florissant. I am looking for another person for a thursday night game at 5:30pm -9 at the fanatsy shop in florissant. If you are interested please stop by on thursday night or email me at jgianc@yahoo.com or call at 314 837-4807.

Is this list currently accurate and are all these open games to incoming (experienced though new to society) gamers?
