Is Apsu a legal god choice for PFS? (for a LG Nagaji if it matters)

I'm a bit unclear actually which gods are/are not legal PFS options. Apsu seems very flavorful for my Nagaji that I'm building but before I spent too much time designing this build I wanted to check whether he would be a legal choice for a god for a PFS character.

Specifically my idea currently would be to build the following:

A Paladin / Cleric / Sorcerer / Dragon Disciple.

(think holy warrior priest of a dragon god, already a reptile who at higher levels transforms into a dragon)

Still working out if this makes sense and would be fun (and viable) - cleric is likely sub-optimal for a Dragon Disciple (since it doesn't really synergize as well as even say Oracle would) but I kinda like the idea of having a few domains - and love the overall flavor.

Likely build would be:

Paladin 2-3, Cleric 1 , Sorcerer 1-2, Dragon Disciple 4 - then not sure, might either take more levels of Cleric or 1-2 more levels of Paladin (though getting to that CON boost at level 6 DD is also tempting).

I'd probably take Artifice and Travel as his domains (though Dragon was tempting for flavor). Probably straight Cleric (though Theologian was tempting if I only wanted one domain)

Any thoughts? (and suggestions for alternatives to consider are also welcome - main goal is to play a mostly melee character with a lot of non-melee options

it is listed in gods and magic, so yes it is allowed, i have a tiefling paladin who worships him.

Legal sources for gods, per the Additional Resources and Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play are:

  • The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook
  • Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Dragon Empires Gazetteer - Subdomains: Moon; Gods: All gods listed on pages 58-63
  • Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Gods and Magic - Gods: all of the gods listed on the inside front cover are legal choices for clerics;
  • Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea World Guide - Gods: All gods listed in the tables on pages 229, 231, and 234
  • Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Magnimar, City of Monuments - Gods: All gods listed in the tables on page 25 are legal
  • Pathfinder Player Companion: Dragon Empires Primer - Gods: All gods listed on pages 26-27
  • Pathfinder Player Companion: Dwarves of Golarion - Gods: all gods listed on the inside front cover (note that all gods with favored weapons listed as "hammer" should read "warhammer")
  • Pathfinder Player Companion: Elves of Golarion - Gods: all gods on page 10
  • Pathfinder Player Companion: Gnomes of Golarion - Gods: all gods on the inside front cover

Apsu is listed in both Gods and Magic and the Inner Sea World Guide, so he's a legal choice.

Cool. I wasn't sure if gods that have mostly non-pc races as worshipers were allowed (ie non-dragons followers of Apsu for example)

Apsu's entry in faiths of purity says he doesn't have clerics or paladins because he doesn't grant spells, though. I agree he's a really neat choice, especially for a dragon disciple (thought of making one myself) but if you're thinking of levels of cleric you may want to choose someone else.

I believe that was an oversight. Need to find the proper quote, but I think James Jacobs stated it.

yea, he grants domains, from gods and magic, why wouldn't he grant spells?

    Yes he grants spells
