The Kama-Pick or "Bec de Roc"

Homebrew and House Rules

An amalgam of the Kama and the Light Pick, this light melee weapon is feared and respected by most combat experts. It weighs 2 1/2 lbs. It deals 1d6 slashing and piercing damage and crits on a 20 x 3. It counts as a martial melee weapon without any special weapon qualities OR an exotic melee weapon in order to gain the monk and trip qualities of a kama. Price: 8 gold and Pizza for your GM.

The kama-pick (or Bec de Roc as some warriors call it) is East-meets-West, and an ideal sidearm for cross-class melee tanks.

Fun Fact: "Bec de Corbin" mean "beak of the raven or crow". So, "Bec de Roc" means "Beak of the Roc" :)

I want Tengu to be proficient with this.

Balance with weapons isn't a tremendous issue to begin with (my players never care and it rarely makes much of a difference) but this seems on-scale to me for what it's worth.

A fitting weapon for a bird-like character!
