Plastic Dwarf Mini With Two Axes

Liberty's Edge

Help :)

I need a plastic mini - painted or unpainted of a dwarf warrior-type wielding two axes. Could be a D&D mini, Wizkids Pathfinder mini, Reaper Bones or pre painted plastic line (I forget the name of that line) etc.

Please note I'm NOT looking for metal.

Can anyone point me toward such a mini?

First things I thought of is from Mantic.

By saying no metal you are limiting your options. There is some great stuff in metal. But I get that you are only interested in Plastic.

EDIT: I forgot to include: Have you seen the D&D Miniature's Dwarf Caver from the Deathknell set?

Thanks Sean - unfortunately that mini is metal.

I know some people like metal but we prefer to stick with plastic. A

Any other ideas???

Some suggestions:

Dwalin, The Hobbit HeroClix
Glorin, The Hobbit HeroClix
Gimli, Lord of the Rings HeroClix
Dwarf Battlerager, DDM Unhallowed. Could work if you remove the two maces and glue axes in their stead
Dwarf Carver, DDM Deathknell (at least I think he's holding two axes, although it could be two picks)
Anvil of Thunder, DDM Aberrations (I think it's two axes)
Dwarf Warlord, DDM Dungeons of Dread (he's holding a light mace in his off hand. cut it off and glue an axe in its place)

Some of the Dwarf Rangers from Games Workshop's Lord of the Rings line has two axes.
I think that at least one of the Dwarf Berserkers from Avatars of War (at the bottom of the page) carries two axes

Some of the entries I've linked to are out of stock but I think you should be able to find them somewhere.

I can't help to be curious about the "no metal" requirement. It limits the available miniatures quite alot :)

He has 2 picks. Nice mini though.

1 axe 1 hammer. The Caver above is a much nicer mini. This guy looks kind of deformed irl.

One of my personal favorites.

Metal doesn't hold up to drops and falls as well as plastic does. I can throw a DDM or a Reaper Bones mini as hard as I like at a pla...err the wall and I can't break it. I've seen metal minis snap in half from a 6 inch drop.

Doh! Sorry. So much of their other stuff (including all the Mantic minis I have) is plastic, I assumed they only made plastic minis. :p

Either as long as it's plastic (see first post)

LOTR TMG Combat Hex FE 073 Gimli

You'll probably have to rebase him.

Yeah, but rebasing those minis is quite easy. I found booster packs of them at our local dollar store years ago. I was quite excited and bought as many as I could afford. Each came with 4 minis and a d6.

You just have to take an exacto knife and slice between his base and the hex base. There's a little square peg (or two) from the mini into the base.

DDM Anvil of Thunder like Patrik Strom & PsychoticWarrior recommended could very close to what your looking for.

I'm looking at the mini and the molding isn't bad but he is holding a pick and a axe.

If you think you wouldn't have any problems replacing the pick with the axe then I can send you mine. I have two of these minis and would be glad to send you both for free if your in the continental US. If you live outside the US then please pay for the shipping.

I have about 60 Dwarf minis and I won't miss two of them.

To contact me directly, which would be faster: heredragondragonATcoxDOTnet.
