Axe of the Dwarvish Lords for 3.0 / 3.5?

Conversions

Howdy. Does anyone know of a conversion of this AD&D module?

Thanks!

Did you read this? Several adventures are already outlined.

I believe he is referring to this, not the item of the same name. (Though said item is involved in the module.)

A stupendous AD&D super module! My favorite from that era of the World's Oldest Fantasy Roleplaying Game.

I don't know of any conversions that have been done, but I have been considering just such an undertaking ... however not being a Paizo freelancer I can't just use ANY of their IP ... and I would convert this with Golarion in mind. (And likely place it in the Five Kings Mountains area/region) ... with perhaps some outlying Varisian countryside encounters (or perhaps Andoran woodlands).

Perhaps I'll "bite the bullet" and begin a write-up/conversion ... and gloss over the overt or outright "Golarionizing" of the module.

Yes, I understand. Even though the module has not been converted, the item and its history has been converted to Pathfinder, which is something.

Isn't there a Module that focuses on the PCs getting the Axe?

Yep, there is Azaelas (the very module ... actually it was called a "super-module" I think) is what we are talking about/referring to (as well as the item itself ... The Axe of the Dwarvish Lords).

Heh ... the artifact and module have the same name.

I meant a Paizo Module.

Though if the Module is the one I know of you can easily convert it with very little work.

I think the worst is finding 3.5 Stat Blocks for the monsters and retrofitting them to be under Pathfinder's basis.

Howdy folks. My original post was related to the AD&D module. I do know that the Axe has been Pathfinderized in Legends & Artifacts (A cool book that reminded me of Judges Guild's Wondrous Relics from many years ago).

As I posted over here, I'm looking to string together a dwarven AP to run as a PbP when my current campaigns wind down.

(You know, since Paizo won't ever do one...)

It looks like, so far, I could string together Hollow's Last Hope, Crown of the Kobold King, Forge of Fury (3.0), Beggar's Pearl, The Dragon's Cave (Warlords of the Accordlands)and Dragon Keep (Warlords) as most of the AP.

Have checked out some other stuff but not keen on including it at present.

Any other dwarven mods/adventures you folks know about (see the thread for others not mentioned in this post), I'd love to hear of them.

Thanks for responses to my OP.

Fire Mountain Games is developing a dwarf vrs. drow AP. See here.

Howdy Jeff. That looks interesting! Nice move not just offering an evil drow option. I shall be purchasing the first installment to check it out. Good luck!
