Hello !
I have been a FR setting DM for many years playing D&D3.5 and my players wanted to move into the pathfinder setting and ruleset, so I took a serious look at the books to get started but I wasn´t able because of the following reasons.
- First and foremost... Land of Super-Science... seriously, I just didn´t bother to read this... medieval fantasy and science fiction just does not mix for me.
- Gunpowder and modern civilizations... I´ve seen a few, and they were getting me already raising an eyebrow... why do we have to mix so many things into one setting? the way they do it in the warhammer setting does work, but I just don´t see it here.
- Finally... nothing really caughting my attention in the setting book... maybe the pathfinder society, and how ioun stones change wayfinders. These seemed interesting.
Apart from all this, I´d like to say that the rest of your work in paizo seems solid and well made. I was really impressed to see these things that in my opinion doesn´t really fit...
The planes and planets section was well made, but I think the core world needs a lot work and changes. Hope my feedback helps.
