Problem with Paizo Order # 2337880

I just received this email, saying that my card had been denied. When we checked the account it is showing the charge from Paizo as pending.

I think I figured out why the charge shows as denied on your end. I never updated my billing address for my subscriptions. What I don't understand is why my credit card is showing the charge as pending when you end shows it being denied. My wife is concerned that when I correct the billing address that the credit card will get charged twice. What can we do to ensure this doesn't happen?

I'm in the same boat for order #2352581. I don't want to update the address at Paizo yet, since it says that it will charge my card when I do.

I am aware of that but this is potentially different.

From Paizo's end it shows as denied, while on my credit card it shows as pending. This is not a standard situation, and I would like to make sure that when I fix the address and the authorization goes through that my credit card will not decide to charge me twice.

If/when a Paizo employee says that this situation is not as different as I perceive it to be, or otherwise tells me that my I do not need to worry about my concerns coming to pass then I will let it go.

I am also aware that it is after 7:15pm on the coast and I am not likely to see a response until tomorrow morning.

I am patient. I just hope we can get this resolved quickly as I want to add something to the order.

I am going to go ahead and fix the billing address so that the authorization can go through. I will watch the credit card to make sure that nothing gets screwed up and let you know if something does.

Graywulfe, it looks like you did end up with two authorizations. I've put a reversal request through for the one that was declined on our end due to the address issue. Usually the reversals go through almost immediately but sometimes they take a business day or two (depends on your bank).

Sara, I updated my billing address Friday afternoon, and the order is still showing as pending. Can you let me know if there's anything else I need to do?
