Had a thought about a concept for paladins / clerics. Perhaps it's already been thought of, and may very well already be in the books / pdfs. The idea is http://diablo.wikia.com/wiki/Archangel - that's right, archangels. Either as a race or a paladin or cleric or even a racial blood line. Epic paladin or cleric would fit most with a class concept. However the wings seem to be an issue. Without doing basically armor addons that don't actually function.
Along those lines, i thought it would be awesome as a paldin or cleric to have the ability to "holy rage" as barbarians Rage, but you basically burst with Holy energy. you get fatigue after. Giving you maybe holy radiance or something along those lines.
Thoughts???
Take a look at the 'saint'(?) template from 3.5, it was a 2 or 3 LA template which you could probably break up and remake into a 5 level PrC if you were so inclined. Other than that 'holy' rage is just a matter of fluff. If you want to do it, it's just a matter of working up a description and using the exisiting rules. Having a fully fleshed out description will make it 'feel' different without a whole new rule set to work up. Take a look at the aasimar book as well if you haven't already. At worst it might help you decided on what direction to go if you settle on making something up yourself.
Aasimars can get functional wings for an investment of 2 feats I think, so that would be taken care of. For the holy rage, you could homebrew a spell and switch the 1/day daylight ability of the aasimar out in exchange.
