Why is a monk's attacks suddenly less powerful when he's wielding a weapon? He certainly isn't striking with any less force, if anything the blows are generating more.
Would monks being able to use their unarmed damage when wielding monk weapons (if the damage die for the weapon is smaller than their unarmed damage) be appropriate?
