My suggestion would be for her to be mentioned with the other missing children and have her show up somewhere in the dungeon when the party can handle her better (such as after levelling up).
Otherwise I'd turn her into a magical fey creature that can take the form of a wolf but has a DR 2/cold iron to make her an easier foe.
Hope those suggestions help. :)

My players handled her pretty easily. I suspect they may have picked up a silver weapon in Hollow's Last Hope.
I'll check my books when I get home.
You're right.
If you run the encounters as suggested in D1, the party should be able to get it before the attack.

There are silver weapons in D1 ** spoiler omitted **
Also, your party is supposed to start D1 at level 2, which helps.
Well,
In my game - that featured a very large group of 8 - I made her a recent ally of the worg, used to lure human victims to the monastery. Also the lycanthrope that bit her is a werewolf champion from the southern Arthfell forest, and very unhappy to hear that one of the newborn members of his "pack" has been mistreated by adventurers.

I'll have to keep this in mind, so here's a dot.
Also, were these modules 3.5e ones or updated to Pathfinder?
The modules were written for 3.5, but in our case we played it using Pathfinder.
The DM smirked, and decided that being cursed with lycanthropy made her similar to an evil outsider, so her evil alignment registered even though per the RAW she didn't have enough hit dice. So the rogue says, "There you are love. Just like I told you." And my paladin replies "Er, Sprout. There's something you should know ..."
