So I've got a fun potential coming up -- one of my players in considering playing Perlivash the faerie dragon and joining the party for a time. If you needed to give the wee dragon 3 levels in a class, what would you give him?
Backstory and info -- we run a troupe style game, with people being able to swap in and out characters should they want to. This gives my players a lot of freedom to experiment and play around with things they may not normally be able to, and provides a healthy group oif NPCs for their kingdom building endeavors.
Perlivash and Tyg have been seperated in the campaign, each captured by a nasty feller. The party just rescued Perlivash from the Staglord's keep, where he was being experimented on by a very naughty wizard. Tyg is currently the captive of another foul dastard making his way east towards varnhold...
Anyway, curious as to what you would do with the wee critter given the chance -- what would you do to give your players some fun with a fey critter?

High Dex, High Int, High Cha. Yeah, sorcerer is the first thing that comes to mind. Fey Bloodline would be obviously appropriate, but you could have fun with something a little less predictable, such a perhaps Dreamspun or Maestro (would make a lot of sense considering how Tyg loves music).
On that note, do you plan to give Tyg levels as well? Looking at her stats she's got a high Dex and decent Wis and Cha, I'd advance her as a Ranger or Bard.

Sorc was my first thought as well, though bard was also on my list -- could be fun. As to advancing Tyg, that depends on the players and how they handle the discovery of her. As well, how prompt they are in addressing her capture once things start to get moving. If they wind up saving the lass, I'll likely advance her as well, as they are both pretty interesting and fun character options.

Sounds good =)
I actually did advance them in my game, mostly because the Spymaster is a forest-dwelling scout and has been friends with them for years. Perl went into Sorc (though I haven't decided his bloodline yet), Tyg into Bard, and a third character, a sprite named Ledipte, into Ranger (with favored enemy Human, but she'll likely be picking up Giant next, thanks to Hargulka's trolls).

Bard totally. Lots of great prank spells and skills he would like in class plus bardic knowledge and songs. He is a 3rd level bard and court jester in my game.
Tug titter tut is good rogue in my game. Solves her damage problem nicely and she is less squishy with evasion and the ability to stay outta reach. Uses bow for sneak attack after entangling foes. Her invisibility, flying and sick starring stealth made that a no brained for me.
