Offensive Defense (Ex)
Benefit: When a rogue with this talent hits a creature with a melee attack that deals sneak attack damage, the rogue gains a +1 dodge bonus to AC for each sneak attack die rolled for one round.
So the Rogue talent, RAW, gives the rogue a dodge bonus against every attack made by anyone, regardless of whether or not it was the target that was struck or a bowman across the courtyard.
Yeah, I don't like that.
A better mechanic for the feat would be to enforce an attack penalty on the target, whether he attacks the rogue or someone else - a little less protection for the rogue but more protection for everyone else without nerfing the talent.
You could theoretically also make it a dodge bonus to AC for the Rogue against the creature struck ONLY, but that's significantly weaker overall and I'm not sure the talent deserves to be hit with the nerf bat.

Hmm.. I saw that ability in the kind of "you're using the person you're sneak attacking as a shield against attacks."
You're the little gnome stabbing the dragon in the back, hiding close enough to it to make it hard for dragon's minions to attack you.
Sure, it doesn't always make sense, but fluffwise, I didn't see a problem.
