Black Cthulhu Mini (Pathfinder Stat Block in an AP or Module?)

What kind of stat block would you use for THIS?

My homebrew adventure path players are 6th level. Can you recommend an existing stat block within one of the Adventure Paths or Modules? If not, could someone post a stat block to help me prepare for Monday's game? Thanks,
Pax

Pathfinder #46 has stats for the CR 20 spawn of Cthulhu.

Looks kinda small, only eats 1d3 players per round.

I love the stats available in adventure paths and modules, however, I'm looking for something smaller scale.

What would you use for a smaller cthulhu-esque creature... something akin to cave dwelling minions of an aboleth?

I'm thinking CR4 so I can throw 4 of them to make a CR8 challenge?
Thanks,
Pax

P.s. I own just about all the PAIZO materials except for the companion guides, and have the Tome of Horrors Complete revised as well. I'm sure a little advice can point me in the right direction. I'd like to use these similar to the way we use Skum or other creatures as servants of aboleths etc. Thoughts?

How about the Decapus

CR4, Medium, basic ambush critter with minor image as a SLA at will.

Aberration with tentacles & a bite?

Sounds about right to me.

A quick Google image search yields this

That first printing of B3 is a real hoot.

Well, the mini has some wings, and two hands, as well as about six tentacles protruding from its mouth. I've taken a pass at modifying the decapus into a Decaphlospawn. I increased its speed and added fly to account for it's wings. I exchanged spellcraft for swim. I added 2 slams to account for the hands. I changed constrict into "brain mucus". I rewrote the description as well. It might do... thoughts?

SPECIAL ABILITIES

Tentacles (Ex) A decaphlospawn's tentacles must all strike at a single target, but they do so as a primary attack.

Brain Mucus (Ex) As part of a full round action, upon a successful strike with both bite and tentacles, the creature ejects a spray of brain mucus that his highly toxic to humanoids and other mammals. The mucus toxin is ejected upon its target within a 5' square requiring a fortitude saving throw versus poison (DC15) else cause the victim to be slowed for 1 turn in addition to taking acidic damage from the spray (2d4+4). Acid resistance of 10 or better negates the effects of the mucus. The saving throw is constitution based.

This swollen cephalopod has six writhing tentacles protruding from its cranial head, and a black monstrous face with glowing green eyes on its stout winged bulbous body.
The strange decaphospawn is one of many bizarre creatures that hail from the deepest caverns of the world. The creature is a fairly intelligent creature that makes excellent use of its ability to weave magical visual illusions and to imitate the voices of other creatures it has heard speaking. Typical decaphlospawns know only the Aklo tongue, but when they use their sound mimicry ability to imitate creatures speaking in other languages, they can typically form short (up to three words long) sentences even when imitating a language they don't actually know.
The decapus's physical structure most resembles that of a bloated octopus with six tentacles upon the hunched dark mucus-coated body. It lacks bones and takes its shape from its rubbery, muscular flesh. Its tentacles are covered with tiny suction cups and hooks, affording them great skill at climbing or clutching prey.
The decaphlospawn favors humanoid flesh over all other food, but can subsist in aquatic ecologies near caverns or shores ripe with lichen, mosses, and seaweed. Decaphlospawn are typically found in the service of an aboleth, or within denizens of skum, serving as guardians or gophers as they carry out the bidding of their master.

Unless I receive any negative feedback or corrections... this is what I'll run with tomorrow (on Monday). Feedback is welcome. Thx.
