Just...what? Buh.

I wonder why they're using 2nd edition rules.

No way is Romney "CG".

Well, it's decided. I'm voting for Vin Diesel.

How is Obama "LE"?

Yeah they should both be Lawful Evil.

Read the article. Guys a a practicing Mormon, which feels he was haunted by his father to vote conservative.

The pictures are pretty bad too. All the imagery is Romney as the heroic champion and Obama as the evil wizard. Straight out of old Sword and Sorcery tropes. Even the magic item names go with it.

And was there even a sorcerer class in 1/2E? Not in the core books at least. But sorcerer sounds worse than wizard. At least to non-geeks.

Heroic champion? I'll never vote neckbeard, in this or any election!

The artist who put them together is a Mormon presumably he's a Rommney voter.

Actually the writeups on the two seem to be mostly First Edition AD&D mechanics, note the saving throws and the fact that "Sorcerer" Obama's prime stat is Intelligence.

The thing is I was thinking in general Romeny is arguing like the supports of wizards being more powerful at high levels. Not getting much detail on waht exactly he will do and trying to get Obama to show all the proof and changing his argument.

This just isn't parsing as English to me. Were you typing this on a cellphone with auto-correct set to "eff it"?

Interesting... I've never seen a character sheet presented as artwork before.
Cool idea.

one of the people I used to play with did this very thing, drawing anywhere there was blank space. Twas cool.

Gaming used to have a lot of different types of accessories that have gone out of style. My friend has a packet of old 2nd ed character sheets where each sheet has a different character portrait on it.

Oh, I do that too! I have sheets where there is no white space left. I tend to doodle when rules were debated or people took smoke breaks, etc.

What I meant was someone doing a fine art piece on canvas or the equivalent (this guy is doing ink I think) to hang in a gallery was new to me.

Wait, you mean there are times when rules aren't being debated and people aren't on smoke breaks?

I don't even

That's asking a lot.

No my brain was going too fast to make sense. MY cell phone doesn't have internet. I was trying to say Romney reminds me of people who side with the casters in the caster martial disparity debates.

Or at least those making Schrodinger's Wizard style arguments, right? My tax plan will pay for it's by removing loopholes, but not the good deductions you use, other unspecified bad deductions. And we'll cut wasteful government spending, but none of that good spending that we need. We'll repeal the evil Obamacare, but keep the good parts. Etc, etc.

I always side with casters. They can conjure cookies.

Man this threatens to derail but...

Spoiler:
I'm totally fine with caster dominance. It's better than 4e. I like playing god wizards, but more than anything I like playing the sort of happy medium classes. Bard, Magus, Inquisitor, and Psychic Warrior are possibly my favorite classes. Though I do REALLY like Psion or Wizard, too. It's just like, it comes down to a gentleman's agreement in our group. The caster is what swings the battle, and we all know it. Without the caster we're all boned. But instead of doing something showy on his own (time stop+ multiple summons) he works WITH the party, buffs, battlefield control, etc.
