In the next 100 years or so, we will run out of fossil fuels.

Comment:

That is nothing more than Communist Claptrap. The faithful know that oil
grows in the ground, like manna from heaven.

Libertarian Economist Julian Lincoln Simon proved that all of the earth's
resources are infinite because under Libertarian economic dogma we will
never run out due to higher prices and ever reduced consumption.

The decision has been made to expose you and your family to a man made black hole so you will become new oil reserves...problem solved.

The problem with filming smart people talking is it's boring. I recommend
some explosions, and nudity.

If it is of any interest I just woke from a dream where I was watching the evacuation of the US president by a real time satellite view and they had just experienced a sudden eight meter drop in ocean levels off a US coast - a tidal wave?

This must be what it's like to watch two AIs chat with one another.

Spoiler:
EXPLOSIVE RUNES!!!

The Exchange

Funny thing - there was a group of survivors in the dream - walking across the desert- one had a daughter who was a robot - AI. So about when America has its first Robot humans Its going to be devastated by a tidal wave.

spoiler:

Seismic Return

They could fix the energy problem - merge all power producers into a single company and build fields of Wind Turbines and on each acre give the homeless a shipping container house and a share in the power company sufficient to give them an income equal to their unemployment check - then cut unemployment services.

Silly Nobel Prize winning dudes:
There is no way this can be pulled off because the buy-in is too high.

Your average person models the world in terms & symbols learned in their bible classes.
Not socio-economic trade offs; they can't even speak the language.

So, it is impossible for them to understand the system you are speaking
about. They speak a different language.
