Okay. Given in my game I've divided the Fey up between Summer and Winter, with Nyrissa on the Summer side and the possibility of an alliance with Winter hanging out for the PCs, I've gone through the books and divided up the various fey between Summer, Winter, and Wildfae (neither). (See "I don't believe in Faeries" thread for further info.)
The Dancing Lady and the Grimstalker are both Summer Court in my game, while Rigg Gargadilly is a Wildfae whose infatuation with the Lady has gotten him indebted to her. In my game, the Dancing Lady is one of Nyrissa's retainers, and her original instructions were to cull any humanoids in the region who would not be useful to the nymph's plots. However, in the time since she's grown complacent, and prefers to simply lord over this little section of the forest and feed on hunters, trappers, loggers, trolls, and anything else that happens to wander too near.
The "event" is Nyrissa's plot, and her eventual attempt to overwhelm then capture the Stolen Lands for her masters.

I'm thinking about making the Dancing Lady into another for Nyrissa's daughters (the other one being the Fellnight Queen from Neil Spicer's module). She's here to have an eye on Hargulka and has gifted him with a magic item which lets her spy on him and gives her the ability to "gate in" troops if the need arises (due to my PCs waltzing through the Stolen Lands I have to engineer some surprises).

... I like that better. Going to add that in on mine. She's still being lazy and not proactive enough for Nyrissa's tastes, but she is prodding Hargulka along as necessary. Plus it gives me a good reason to have her run for it and leave Rigg and the Grimstalker to their fates if things turn bad.
