For those using the Darklight Sisterhood in their games, which direction have you taken with them, and how has it worked out in your games?
Have you played them up as incompetent and in over their heads, basically using them as not entirely serious rivals or even almost ineffectual sympathetic antagonists? Or are they played as a serious organization and a serious threat? Or something in between? Villainous underdogs? Unexpectedly competent foes that aren't as harmless as they might appear? Potential allies as often as rivals?
Basically, what kind of feel have you aimed for with the Sisterhood, whether they've been used as allies, enemies, or potential sources for PCs?
Toying with the idea of introducing that character either as a frustrated rival hampered by her fellow Darklighters as much as her own early incompetence before she horrifically comes into her own, or as a competent-from-the-start, very shady but affable ally before going completely dark side. I was also certainly planning on having a from-the-beginning Belloq-ish rival from the Aspis Consortium, this one definitely competent from the start and hopefully infuriatingly "friendly" and almost sporting with the PCs. Currently planning on playing those two off each other, with potential three-way rivalries and temporary alliances coming and going, along with all the other allies and factions already in the AP and those other few I'm planning to add.
Just wondering how the Darklight Sisterhood has worked best for those using them before committing. :)
