Applying PreGen C

Pathfinder Society

1/5

I first played Pathfinder Society game at Gen Con about 2 years ago using a 1st level pregenerated character. I gave the character a name and Andoran faction.

I hadn't played a game since, but recently I found a local group that runs Society games. I just created my own character with a different name and I different faction.

Can I apply the pregenerated character's Scenario to my 1st level character? The Guide to Open Play says I can, but I was wondering if it is an issue that the faction and name differ.

Your first game should have been applied to your character #1. What character number are you using for your new character?

As long as you haven't played a game at 2nd level, under the newest version of the campaign rules, you can retrain and change anything and everything about your character except their number. As long as the chronicles all reflect the same character number and you haven't played a game at second level, then little things like your name and faction are subject to change.

Once you play your first game at 2nd level, you can pretty much only change your faction by paying a Prestige cost.

All this is detailed in the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play, version 4.2.

What if I played Way of the Kirin with a Pre-gen because I am only lvl 1, am I allowed to take Lantern Lodge Boon from that?

Dark Archive 2/5

No you are not.

So if you played a Pre Gen for the your very first event, that can only be applied to Grand Lodge?

Shadow Lodge 4/5

Yes, but you can make your new character whatever faction you wish. Except for Shadow and Lantern, because those are no longer legal.
