Ultimate Equipment Revisited (What Ultimate Equipment Missed)

Homebrew and House Rules

Liberty's Edge

Picked up Ultimate Equipment the other day. I enjoyed the book. Unfortunately, I was expecting many more random tables than it included. I was also hoping for this book to list thousands of mundane items that could be added to treasure troves. For instance a list of 100 chairs worth 25g or 100 necklaces worth 50g. I have not been able to find a published book that fits my desire to spruce up the non-magical.

If someone knows of a such a book, please let me know. Otherwise, I am looking for one or two people who would be interested in creating such a book. If the book turns out to be that good maybe we can sell it but for now I want to create this book for personal use.

Joining me will require you to help develop a book layout, actively research mundane items, including their worth and their rarity, as well as participate in constructive banter.

I have had a few passive participants in the past. They have been helpful from time to time but their contribution was not compatible with mine.

Please PM me if you are interested in developing this type of documentation.

Irrie.

Still looking for either someone to develop random tables with me or suggestions on books/webpages with these types of random tables.

3.5's Draconomicon had random tables for dragon hoards in the back that may not be QUITE as extensive as what you want, but would probably get close. You might also go to rpgdrivethru or just use google and look for third party products, I've seen some pretty extensive mundane item tables as cheap or free PDFs out there.

Dark Archive

there is one called Endrichion of magic and art objects written by Spencer “The Sigil” Cooley that suggest a lot of matirial and mundane items that can made with. you should be able to find it on the web I guess.
Green ronin also published a 101 mundane treasure

Shadow Lodge

Umm I know the pfsrd has some rule of thumb stuff for pricing furniture and things and the 3.5 arms & equipment guide has some more stuff on building specific art objects or jewelry.

That being said though I didn't think we were going to find much on those sorts of things at least the furniture stuff as it's not really something that people will usually want as random loot and wouldn't interest a lot of groups or spark an idea for rp, adventures, or campaigns like say a "crystallized dragon heart" or "Vampire soul" would.

With all that in mind though I think we will see things like furniture and stuff like that when we get ultimate campaign which will have rules on building strongholds and whatnot which will probably include stuff like that.

Liberty's Edge

Bought the Enchiridion. It is not what I am looking for but has some useful information. Thanks.

Every random table you will ever need

It's not system specific, but it certainly includes lots of "stuff lists" like "what stuff is in this room" and "what do I find when I pick his pocket" that will hopefully help.

This book looks intriguing. Does it come as hardback if I buy it new? I couldnt figure that out.

That is odd, but it is available here. Frickin spendy though.
