Reporting Scenarios

Lantern Lodge 4/5

Hi. I'm a very new DM to Pathfinder Society and only recently ran my first scenario. I am running the First Step trilogy of adventures for a party that is mostly new to PFS play.

I have managed to confuse myself about reporting the first scenario and the other two in this trilogy. I reported the first adventure with each player receiving 1 XP and 2 prestige. Should I have instead reported 1 XP and 1 prestige? Later coming back and adding the second prestige? Or after all three adventures are all done reporting the last one with each player receiving 1 XP and 4 prestige?

I know these series of adventures is supposed to help the players choose a faction. So I do not want to unintentionally lock them into one with their prestige reporting there despite their desire for it to do otherwise.

Any help clearing up the question will be greatly appreciated.

Since it is assumed that none of the characters have joined a faction. There are no true faction missions in any of the intro scenarios. The conditions for gaining each of the 2 potential prestige points for the scenario are listed under the conclusion section of the scenario on the last page.

All of the rewards earned for each session should be awarded on their chronicle sheets, and reported in their entirety.
