What are your thoughts on grifters? You know, con-artists. I don't mean the bloke down the pub nicking people's pay with some fancy card tricks or the mean bastards that'd cheat an old lady out of her life savings, I mean the classy sort of grifter.

Is not my particular area of expertise or enforcement. Judgement of mortal deeds and sins left to Pharasma, not her church. My job protect weak from strong.

If you feel your lifestyle righteous, and lead to content eternity in hereafter, that your business. You use your lifestyle to do harm on others who can't stop you, then maybe you and I have unpleasant chat.

Have met one of those in Taldor! He very nice. Feija hate that he fit bodice as well as her.

Why don't you just simply read a book?

Enjoy book when find time to relax, but find very little time to relax. Also Valeros laugh at glasses.

Do you work with Seelah often?

Have you ever been on a train?

I'm picturing simple, understated wire rimmed spectacles and in my head they look great on you.

Must be hard to keep them in one peice though, the adventuring life being what it is.

As a person of half-human ethnicity yourself, what do you think of other kinds of half-humans, i.e., half-elves, aasimar, tieflings, oreads, undines, etc?

Also, I've noticed that sometimes in the artwork you're shown wielding a longsword, a martial weapon. Inquisitors are only supposed get access to simple weapons and the weapon of their deity. Pharasma's chosen weapon is a dagger, so where'd you learn to handle that sword?

Do you ever run into problems keeping your hat on in the wind?

Dark Archive

You wear reading glasses? o.O

The Exchange

Who would win in a 1-on-1 fight: Pharasma or Urgathoa?

More importantly, have you ever had to team up with a living, and intellegent, undead?

You seem like a very serious individual. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with that, but I also think you have a certain, undeniable charm. Do you ever spend time relaxing, or going out on casual dates? and if you do, what would be a nice evening of fun for you?

Not as often as would like. Jobs that call for paladin and jobs that call for inquisitor not overlap so much.

Is more of Ezren question. I assume it work like this: You cast spell. Spell happen.

Tirq wrote:

No point in regrets or second guessings. Always make best of what you have available. If you only focus on wishing you bring holy water, you miss silver dagger lying in corner.

Tirq wrote:

Have been on many trainings. Training for bow. Training for meditation. Training for hunting.

Mmm. Glasses look good, I think. Went through many pairs before purchase adamantine case to keep them in. Is paying for itself. Now I can keep in belt pouch instead of leave at camp.

I bet this makes it easier when you have to use a scroll in the field.

What's your favorite food? What bit of Ustalavian cuisine do you miss most when you're adventuring far and wide?

Try to keep open mind. Half-human have just as much potential for good as human. Or potential for bad. Not all tiefling evil. Not all aasimar good. Sometimes heritage have obvious affect on personality, but there world of difference between letting heritage influence you, and letting heritage dominate you.

Ha! Acceptable enough.

You ever think of trying to clean up the nation of Geb one of these days, or does that fall under the heading of a problem too big for one person to tackle?

What kind of legal authority does an inquisitor of Pharasma have in Ustalav?

Also, have you ever met a human who was an orc blooded sorcerer?

Pharasma greater deity and crux of ultiverse. She control the movement of all souls in hereafter. Urgathoa scared little girl who run away rather than face judgement. Fight never even happen.

Tirq wrote:

Have not. No such thing as "living undead".

Miss gulyásleves. Very delicious, but hard to find away from Ustalav, Rest of Avistan seem afraid of paprika. Father would make with mutton and parnsip when he visit.

Varisian food very good. They make sort of almost-gulyásleves with chick peas and cale. Very satisfying.

Haberdasher ca provide hate. Coat come from talented leatherworker in Caliphas. Have had patches patches or repairs since, though; very little or original coat remain.

Ask around; find good leather shop near you. May have to engage dye merchant separately. Crimson dye expensive.

Have you ever encountered a Grammer Cleric?

Has someone ever tried to make you sing a song in public?

What are the chances of other Iconics, such as Seelah, Balthazar, or Valeros, getting on the "Magic Blackbox" and being asked questions like these?

What is your favorite food?

Can you do a backflip?

I am just joining the Grey Lady's inquisition myself, and my companions keep reminding me what a bad reputation we have. How do you describe the important work we do to make others understand that doesnt involve your weapons (cuz Id like to try it without bloodshed first)?

Out of all the iconics, I believe you are my favorite next to the dwarf and the paladin. Will you be starring in any short storied adventures anytime soon?

What about the Iconic Rage Prophet prestige class? That is definately an Orc or a Half Orc. What is his name?
Is half-orc, yes, but prestige classes not have iconics. Can be considered runners up. Seltyiel is good example: Was not technically iconic until Magus class identified, but was fast-tracked into position by being prestigious.

Speaking of Seltyiel, have you ever worked with him? What was that like?

The Exchange

I asked if he was as emo as everyone depicts him. My other questions about the other Iconics are:

Do Valeros and Alain get along well?

If you were to throw (literally) Lem in a dragon's mouth, would the dragon think Lem tastes funny?

If a tree falls in the middle of a forest, and only Alain's horse hears it, How would he find out how it sounded?

If you had to be another class, which class would you be?

Ha! Love this story!

Am once kidnapped by ghoul cult. Leader think he very suave, like vampire. They take gear, put me in fancy dress, make me sit down to nice dinner with him where he talk about plans for conquer world.

I steal flatwear, use to make holy water once they take me back to cell. Tear up fancy dress and make into hand wraps. Soak in holy water, beat ghoul guard senseless. Finally have sword again by time meet very-not-suave ghoul wizard leader again, but incredibly satisfying beating back to death with bare hands.

It easily most satisfying unarmed kill.

Do not like having hat taken.

Nation of evil undead more of group effort to fix. Will not say impossible for one person to make diference; never know exact role mortal persistence, luck, and gods play in world, but very rarely plan to rely on such things.

when you travel with a gnome or halfling have you carried them on your shoulders? and have you ever had to throw one across a river.

As a fellow inquisitor of Pharasma, I applaud all you have done for the faith, Imrijka. Your exploits are legend.

However, I have a pressing issue: Recently, I received a healing spell from a cleric of... Desna, I believe. At least, I presume this was a healing spell, as that was what I requested. However, the spell caused intense pain, dropping me to unconsciousness.

Have you ever experienced this? And do you know why this happened?

Legal authority is not so much. Church more important than government, so try to keep from bogging down with day-to-day affairs of taxes and whatnot. Have great deal of social authority, though. Very few people tell Pharasman inquisitor no when ask for information or entry. Even nobles respect work done for church, or fear for immortal souls.

The NPC wrote:

Orc-blooded sorcerer? Sound crazy? Why having orc blood give magic powers? Orcs not have magic powers.
