Hail and well met fellow gamers.

I had a viewer ask me about the Master Chymist Prestige class and whether levels in that stacked with Alchemist for the purposes of Extra Discovery being using. I've compiled the question, some research and some thoughts in this video. I'd love to have your thoughts on the issue as well!

Prc only stack what they say they stack. So just the bombs. Some advanced mutagens check your total alchemist and chymist level but that's just to select them. A lvl 7 alch lvl 3 chymist will be treated as a lvl 7 alchemist for discoveries.

I don't understand the question. As soon as you have the Discovery class feature, you can fill every general feat slot you get with Extra Discovery, even if you never take another level of alchemist. There's no stacking involved.

I think the OP is talking about some of the discoveries that have an alchemist level prereq. If so, Mojorat is correct.
